“Christopher, the last time I asked you how to join videos, it was the work of the honey. I was a little rude; forgive me and my sawdust-filled head. Please, don't think that I'm trying to butter you up now. I have sincerely realized my excessive vehemence.

One after another

  1. Add your videos; they will appear in the main video sequence field.
  2. Click the Merge Videos button.

By default, the video clips are merged with the use of transition effects. Tinker with the settings and select suitable transitions. Set the duration of transitions at 0 seconds to merge the videos with no transitions.

After you've added your videos to the online movie maker, you need to take the following steps:

  • Align the overlying video vertically with the background clip; this means the two videos will start at the same time.
  • Use this button on the overlying video clip to go to the editor.
  • In the editor, you set the region – to adjust the overlying video's position in the frame and scaling – and the way the video should fit into the selected region.

After that, you can return to the main window and click on the Create Video button.
